    Good Quality, nice option

Posted by Lorraine Brown on 25th Feb 2016

I am an AEA certified instructor and Hydro fit cuffs are my preferred buoyancy and resistance equipment type. The replacement covers are a nice option when the old covers are worn out both as a cost consideration and conservation (no need to throw away perfectly good flotation inserts. The only reason I didn't rate them with 5 stars is the price is still pretty high. I'd also like an alternative fastener to Velcro on the stirrups. Chlorine is pretty rough on it. Some of my students wash their cuffs frequently which seems to help the Velcro but wears out the fabric sooner.

    Hydro-fit cuff covers

Posted by Barbara on 7th Dec 2015

These covers are easy to replace when necessary, which has been about once a year when using in a pool. We don't use chlorine, but the chemicals they do use, wears out the fabric. I would like the covers to last longer.

    Classic HYDRO-FIT Cuffs

I had to order these because after a year, the Easy-close cuffs kept coming loose. I wouldn't recommend the Easy-Close. Thank you for such fast service...really quick "turn around".

Have been using hydrofit equipment for over 20 years

Great products! When the cuff covers wear out after long exposure to chlorine I just order a new set of covers, rather than a new pair and we're off again to the pool for deep water strengthening and aerobic training.

    hydrofit cuffs

Posted by Unknown on 7th Feb 2015

I have used Hydrotfit cuffs in my practice for 23+ years. They are very effectve in accompomplishing so many things automatically, which is part of the reason why I like them. I am disappointed in their recent performance in a salt water pool. They need to be replaced far sooner than I am accustomed to, fading quickly and actually falling apart and ripping within 12 months. I compare this to past use in a chlorinated pool. I will continue to use them but hope that the fabric can be improved to avoid this rapid wear and tear.

    Easy Close Replacement Cuff Covers

The replacement cuff covers work really well replacing worn out cuffs. No need to buy a new set, just a cover. Keeps some unnecessary items from the land fill.
