STRADDLE JOG / Instep Sweep
This deep water aerobic exercise strengthens and tones your shoulders and core. Begin in a straddle jog with your arms extended at the surface. Maintain a rhythmic exercise action as you sweep your palm forward and down, reaching toward your opposite instep.

The only flotation belt that really works!

I have had trouble finding a flotation belt that works for me. I decided to try the Hydro-Fit because it is the brand used at my local recreation center. And, when I discovered there was a model with a velcro closure, I was hooked. As I imagine is true for many people, flotation belts ride up while in the water; to tighten the belt is difficult and, for me, requires getting out of the pool. The new closure makes it easy to tighten the belt in the pool. The Hydro-Fit keeps me upright at the correct height for aqua aerobics giving lots of freedom to perform all exercises in all positions. It really works!

Great Exercise Belt

This belt is definitely worth the money. Don't even consider purchasing a narrow belt. They cut into your ribs, I exchanged the same belt with a buckle closure because it was too hard to fasten. The velcro belt works great. It is a very sturdy velcro.

I'm a large gal, and was afraid most of the belts I was looking at would not be big enough. This one is for sure! It may even be a little too big, and I may give it to a friend and have her buy a smaller one for me. Quality is great and it's super easy to use. Stays put.

I bought the belt and the wave seat together. The seat keeps the belt from riding up and being a tug of war. Since I also don't have to overtighten the belt to keep it from riding up I can breath more freely. Love the easy closure

I love deep water aerobics, but I sink - fast - I weigh within the small range, but it does not give me the support to stay afloat - like to hang for a bit. I moved up to the medium size and I now have plenty of support. I love the new closure on the belt it works well in the water. Due to my size the belt loop was way to big, so I just got some waxes thread and sewed about 6 to 8 inches together so the belt would attach where it is suppose to. A hint, if you need to do this adjust the belt loop to where the attaching aparts' fit and then sew it in so that the extra belt is on the inside.

Best Flotation Ever

This easy-close belt allows flotation with feet directly under me in the water. Water aerobics are easy with the help of this belt

The whole body stays afloat

For now, new wave belts with easy-close velcro-like straps are a wonderful addition to aqua fitness class. Time will tell how long the straps last in their job! Much easier to fit on all shapes of bodies, especially for drop-in participants who may never have used any type of buoyancy device. Be sure to have them pull in their tummies as the strap tightens--helps reduce "riding up" once they're in the water.
